Skin Enhancement
Your skin is slowly breaking down as you read this. Regardless of what you do, your skin’s cells are under siege from internal processes and external toxins. But that doesn’t mean you are destined to suffer from sagging, bagging, crinkling and wrinkling skin as you age. In fact, there’s much you can do to stop or even reverse the damage to your skin. Dr. Sylvain’s skin enhancement program combine today’s most effective technologies, non surgical treatments and physician approved medical skin care products:
-
Fillers and injectables such as Botox®, Restylane®, Juvéderm® and Radiesse® to fill deep lines and wrinkles that make you look older, tired and stressed, or to augment lips.
-
Microdermabrasion and chemical peels to remove dead skin cells, clean pores and provide deep exfoliation for a softer, fresher, more youthful appearance.

Vein Removal
No one wants unsightly varicose or spider veins ruining their appearance. But up to half of all women may be affected by these abnormal venous developments,
along with many men. Heredity and pregnancy are the leading causes of varicose veins. Thanks to Dr. Sylvain’s phlebology training and advanced vein removal treatments, your unsightly and unhealthy veins can become a thing of the past.
-
EVLT, or endovenous laser treatment, eliminates varicose veins at the source by sealing them shut and immediately relieving your symptoms. EVLT is a quick and noninvasive alternative to surgical stripping and leaves no scar. Dr. Sylvain performs EVLT in the office with local anesthesia, and the procedure requires no downtime.
-
Ultrasound guided sclerotherapy is most commonly used to remove varicose veins from the legs and is a safe, effective treatment for varicose veins remaining after EVLT or surgery. While visually monitoring the vein on an ultrasound screen, Dr. Sylvain uses a special solution that shrinks and removes unsightly varicose veins from under the skin. The procedure may also remedy symptoms such as aching, burning, swelling and night cramping. Treatment time averages 15 to 45 minutes with no downtime.
-
Sclerotherapy is considered the “gold standard” for spider vein removal. Millions of women have spider veins, which are small, but unsightly clusters of red, blue and purple veins that appear on the thighs and lower legs. In this simple procedure, the veins are injected with a special solution that causes them to collapse and fade from view. Sclerotherapy is a predictable, relatively painless procedure.
-
Facial veins can cause a red and “ruddy” appearance on the face. These veins are treated using laser, intense pulsed light (IPL) or sclerotherapy to “get the red out.”
